Dr. Mamoun Samaha

Instructor

Mamoun Abu-Samaha has extensive industrial experience. He worked for Hewlett Packard as an architect and technology strategist in corporate IT, a software architect, and then a wireless and mobility chief technology officer. Later, he worked for Motorola Mobility as their enterprise CTO. Currently, he is co-founder, CEO, and chief strategy officer for MobiWee Inc.

 

He teaches the following courses: Mobile Applications Development, Cybersecurity Countermeasures, Web Security & Ethical Hacking, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Algorithms, and Blockchain, Game Design and Software Development and AI, Python, C language.

 

Dr. Abu-Samaha’s areas of interest include mobile platforms and services, applications, Android, iOS, IoT, embedded systems, cybersecurity, and ethical hacking, blockchain, enterprise architecture, game design, unity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, GAN, and virtual and augmented reality.

Curriculum

    ITU offers certificate courses in multiple areas of Cybersecurity, Ethical Hacking, Forensic and Threat Intelligence.

    Total Required:

    ITU certificate courses are academic and are eligible for masters credits if you plan to take masters program with ITU in the future. Take any Course to receive a Certificate from ITU. If you pass the exam of Ec-Council, you will receive an Ec-Council certificate. One course, two certificates!

    Duration: A full-time student can complete the certificate in 4 months, the exam can be taken within 12 months.

    To ensure the best possible educational experience for our students, we may update our curriculum to reflect emerging and changing employer and industry trends. Certificates are designed to be taken at a part-time pace. Please speak to your instructor for more details.

    Tuition

    The cost per course will be related to the number of credits registered, per credit is $650. Plus a trimester fee ($250).

    RECOMMENDED COURSE SEQUENCE

    Step 1: Take Courses

    Wireless and Mobile App Certificate Program is a series of courses that helps you master a skill. To begin, enroll in the Certificate Program. You may choose to start with any certificate or take our recommended bundle to finish the certificate program.

    Step 2: Ec-Council exams

    Each certificate includes an Ec-Council exam. You’ll need to successfully pass the exam to earn your Ec-Council certificate.

    Step 3: Earn Two Certificates at one time

    When you finish the course and pass the Ec-Council exam, you’ll earn a Certificate from ITU and a Certificate from Ec-Council that you can share with prospective employers and your professional network.
