Curriculum
ITU offers certificate courses in multiple areas of Cybersecurity, Ethical Hacking, Forensic and Threat Intelligence.
Total Required:
ITU certificate courses are academic and are eligible for master’s credits if you plan to take a master’s program with ITU in the future. Take three AI/ML/Deep Learning Courses to receive a Certificate from ITU.
Duration: A full-time student can complete the certificate in 4-12 months.
To ensure the best possible educational experience for our students, we may update our curriculum to reflect emerging and changing employer and industry trends. Certificates are designed to be taken at a part-time pace. Please speak to your instructor for more details.
Dr. John Kim
Instructor
Dr. JeongHee Kim is a core professor at ITU. He also works as an adjunct faculty at San Jose State University. Previously, he served as a Senior Engineer of Software Verification at Broadcom, a District Manager at Panasonic, and a Consultant for Electronics, Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), Sybersay Communications, and Bell Labs in Lucent Tech. His research experience is in algorithm development of noise reduction, system optimization, performance analysis, and adaptive filtering process.
Dr. Kim holds a PhD in electrical engineering from New Mexico State University, where his thesis covered stereophonic acoustic echo cancellation, Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Kansas and his Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from West Coast University.
Tuition
The cost per course will be related to the number of credits registered, per credit is $700.

Every course includes a hands-on project. You’ll need to successfully finish the project(s) to complete the course and earn your certificate.
Step 3: Earn a Machine Learning and AI Certificate
When you finish every course and complete the hands-on project, you’ll earn a Certificate that you can share with prospective employers and your professional network.
