Global Connections

International Technological University is built on educational ideals conceived for the new millennium. ITU embraces the belief that technological advances in communication, transportation, and trade have made cross-cultural interaction and cooperation inevitable and desirable. Towards that end, the University plays a special international role, attracting talented students, professors, industry innovators and entrepreneurs from across the globe to the Silicon Valley, identifying their particular cultural strengths and perspectives, and applying their talents where they can have the most influence and effectiveness.

In the future, ITU aims to scale out its successful university-level educational model based in Silicon Valley as plans for a globally networked university are realized. Ultimately, ITU’s vision is to provide the proper bridging infrastructure for non-violently developing the entire world, using education as a means to bridge relations between and among all nations.

ITU strives to create lasting memberships with members of the larger educational landscape. As an institution, ITU has partnered with esteemed organizations like the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), the Association for Institutional Research (AIR), and the California Chamber of Commerce (Cal Chamber).

The university’s memberships serve as a litmus test for ITU’s growth over the years. Partnerships with these longstanding organizations are a prime example of the institution’s progress and potential. As a member of these respected groups, ITU has joined an established club that demonstrates its value and highlights its future development.
