Professor Srinivasan earned his B.S degree from University of Mysore, India, M.S from State Indian Institute of Technology(IIT), Madras and Ph.D from prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc)Bangalore. Worked as , Embedded Systems Research Scientist at IISc Bangalore for 25 years. Teaching Computer Science since 1980. NRDC (1993) National Award and 1994 President's ( Government of India) award winner for the best research in computer science. Worked as visiting Scientist at EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland and SUNY - State University of NY, Buffalo.

Moved to Bay Area in 1995. Since then working in Industry and Teaching as adjunct faculty at various colleges and Universities in Bay Area. ( SJSU, UCSC EX, Dominican University, National Hispanic University, San Jose City College, Ohlone College). Joined ITU in December 2013, since then teaching Software Engineering, Programming and webApplication courses. In the last 4 years Prof. Srinivasan has taught 50+,  3 unit courses at ITU.

Professor Srinivasan has  taught 200 + , three unit college courses in the Bay Area Schools since 1995. Dr.S.Mandyam is a US Citizen and a resident of San Jose.
