This month ITU Presents was honored to welcome ILM Creative Director David Nakabayashi. During his one-hour presentation, Nakabayashi shared insight into the history of ILM, his creative process, and what it was like working with major Hollywood directors, like Michael Bay.

Nakabayashi comes to ITU Presents with over 20 years of experience in the digital effects industry. During his career, he has worked on projects like Avatar, Star Wars: Episode I, and Transformers. Using examples from his time on those films, Nakabayashi explained how the filmmaking process has changed over the past 20 years and what the future might hold for the evolving industry.
