ITU is located in exciting downtown San Jose, and close to the center of one of the world’s greatest concentration of hi-tech, professional and scientific activity. Some of the many leading firms within five miles of ITU include: HP, Apple,Deloitte,INTEL, Microsoft, Yahoo! Google, AMD, ATMEL, Juniper Networks, Symantec, Cypress Semiconductor, SUN, NASA, Cisco, Applied Materials, Silicon Graphics, Adobe Systems, Altera, Adaptec, Cadence, Electronic Arts, Oak Technology, Brocade, Radius, Nvida, Synopsis and IBM.
Not too far from ITU is Santana Row, a shopping center known for its exciting events. Modeled after European-style shopping centers, Santana Row features live music and beautiful landscapes: a great place for enjoyable study breaks.
ITU encourages a creative, holistic and healthy approach to learning. Work/life balance is an important aspect of the university. ITU offers regular yoga classes to students, faculty and staff that integrates various movement forms, dance and exercises. These classes improve physical, mental and emotional wellness to help impart a focused, productive and sustainable study and work experience.
