Student ID Application & Policy

To apply for a Student ID, you must submit the following information and documents to id@itu.edu:

  • First & last name
  • Student id
  • First semester enrollment in ITU
  • Present semester
  • Photo as .jpg format (soft copy)
  • Program taking in ITU
  • For New Students: Acceptance Letter
  • For Existing Students: a copy of your federal issued photo ID. (We will not process your ID if we do not receive your federal issued photo ID)

You must also present your photo ID when your student ID pick-up your Student ID.

For those who already submitted their applications, you need to show your federal issued photo ID to be able to pick up your student ID to the Information Learning Resource intern in the Student Lounge.

VTA Pass Information and Policy
VTA pass is available to all current students registered with ITU. VTA passes are provided to the Student at a discounted price so they may commute to school. Please note, VTA passes is only available for student’s coming to school to attend class. If you are currently on semester break, OPT and/or CPT (working for another employer) you are not eligible to purchase VTA passes from ITU.

To apply for a VTA Pass, please send the following information to library@itu.edu:

  • First and last name
  • Major
  • Student ID number
  • Semester you joined ITU
  • Photo
Petition to Graduate
Fill out “Petition to Graduate Form” and make the necessary payment. For more information, please contact Evelyn Tsao at tevelyn@itu.edu.

Payment information:

  1. If you pay with debit or credit card, fill out the Debit/Credit Authorization Form with your petition to graduate form and submit it to the Accounting Department. We charge 2% if you pay with debit or credit card.
  2. If you pay by check, you need to submit the form and check to the accounting department.  Check must be payable to “ITU”.  You can also mail the form and check in a sealed envelope to the following address:

Request Transcripts & Grade Reports
You must fill out a transcript request form and send it along with payment. Once payment is accepted it will take up to 3 business days to process the request. For more information, please contact Evelyn Tsao at tevelyn@itu.edu.

Payment information:

  1. If you pay with debit or credit card, you will need to fill out the appropriate authorization form and submit it with your transcript request form to the Accounting Department. There is a 2% additional charge for payment with debit or credit card.
  2. If you pay by check, you need to submit the form and check to the accounting department.  Check must be payable to “ITU”.  You can also mail the form and check in a sealed envelope to the following address:

Student can view and print the unofficial transcripts by logging into: https://ems.itu.edu.

Transferring Institutions
You will need to submit your acceptance letter and the transfer form from the school you plan to transfer to in person or by email to Amy Chaung at achaung@itu.edu.
