Edward Lam brings a wealth of non-profit and private business financial experience to ITU.
Lam has served as the Chief Financial Officer at ITU since 2011. During that time he has successfully strengthened ITU’s oversight effectiveness by recommending the Board of Trustees to establish a separate Audit Committee to oversee the quality and integrity of the University’s accounting, auditing, legal, and regulatory compliance practices. His contributions in these fields were key to earning ITU’s WASC accreditation.
Prior to his work in higher education, Lam gained extensive experience in financial affairs including fiscal reporting, budget planning, audit, and tax compliance. Along with his position at ITU, he works as active member for organization like The National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO). He earned his Business Administration degree from Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley and gained a MS in Taxation from Lucas Graduate School of Business, San Jose State University.
Angie Lo is the Director of University Affairs and Board Liaison of ITU. In her position, Lo oversees Board Relations, Strategic Planning, Facilities and Operations, Institutional Membership, Community Services, Advisory Boards, Advancement, and Special Events.
Prior to joining ITU, she served in a variety of roles in the technology and aviation industries. Lo joined ITU in 2010 as Project Assistant and has held a number of senior leadership positions including Associate Director of Strategic Planning and Director of Campus Operations.
Lo is an active participant with The National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO), The Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges (AGB), and The Society for College and University Planning (SCUP). She holds a BA in International Studies from University of California, Irvine and an MBA from ITU.
