Dr. Mougharbel is currently the Department Chair of Business Administration at International Technological University (ITU). She is also ITU, SAP University Alliance Program Faculty Coordinator. In addition, Dr. Mougharbel is the Newsletter Chief In Editor. She has been in the academia for 15 years, and taught business courses in many universities in Lebanon, in United Arab Emirates, and in U.S. In addition, she has many academic positions, Business Department Chairman at American University of Technology (AUT), Lebanon; Business programs Coordinator, at AUT, Lebanon; System Wide Accounting Curriculum Leader for 12 campuses at the Higher Colleges of Technology, United Arab Emirates; Member of the Assessment Review and Academic Committees, United Arab Emirates.

Dr. Mougharbel is an Alumni of 2011-2012 WASC Assessment Leadership Academy Program.

She earned a Ph.D. degree in business Administration, from “Université de Corse Pascal Paoli, France”, and a Master Science of Business Administration degree with accounting concentration from San Francisco State University.

Before she joined the academic world, she had been the Accounting Manager in international and local companies in U.S. for 10 years.

Dr. Mougharbel published two books on accounting topics, and presented two papers in conferences on human resources topics, in France. She also presented three papers on the Dual Motive Theory in relation to the Accounting practices, and banking.

Dr. Mougharbel is a member of the honor organizations: Golden Key National Honor Society, and Eta Chapter of Alpha Gamma Sigma, the California Community College Honor Scholarship Society. In addition, she is a member of the recognized association: American Accounting Association.

Dr. Ramesh Konda is a part time Professor in Business Administration department. He has Ph.D. in Computer Information Systems, M.B.A., and M.S. in Industrial Engineering. His work experience includes Information Systems, Database Management, Data Analytics, Data Mining, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Processes, Six Sigma, Project Management, and Knowledge Management. Dr. Konda is a Fellow of the American Society for Quality (ASQ). Dr. Konda’s papers were published in conference proceedings and International journals. Dr. Konda is currently serving on the editorial board of International Journal of Quality & Reliability.

Patricia Wiggin is Core Faculty in the Business Department. She enjoys teaching classes such as Organizational Leadership Theories, Business Communications, Managing Emotions and Persuasive Effectiveness. Through teaching and as an advisor for the ITU student Toastmaster’s club, she enjoys contributing to each student’s personal and professional development. Patty received the ITU Distinguished Faculty award for 2014-2015.

Working for over 30 years in the Medical Diagnostics industry, most recently with Siemens Corporation, Patty’s career includes positions in Product Management, Marketing, Communications, and Training.

Patty is also a Doctoral Student at ITU. She has a BA in Business Administration and an MBA from ITU. Living in the San Francisco Bay Area, she is married with one child, volunteers in Christian youth mentoring programs and loves art and travel.

Albert has 25+ year experience in software engineering and technology management. As a director of software engineering at a large online financial services firm, he was responsible for a department of 60+ software engineers in multiple U.S. & India locations to develop systems for services, sales, brokerage & bank operations, and the firm’s intranet. As a curriculum developer and Information Technology (IT) instructor, he taught for a non-profit organization to prepare economically-disadvantage high school seniors for internship positions in corporations by equipping them with essential IT knowledge, Office application experiences, project management concepts and basic customer services skills. As a professor in a community college and ITU, he is passionate in imparting Project Management skills and IT knowledge to others and inspiring them with relevant experiences for succeeding in higher education and professional careers.

My name is Jimmie Flores. I’m what you consider a life-long learner, having earned seven master’s degrees and two doctorates.

Over the past two decades, I’ve held professional employment positions in companies like Shell Oil Company, Prudential, and USAA. In 2000, I launched an IT company, which provided IT services to collegiate conferences. Because of my love for education, I decided to change career direction in 2008 and become an IT Consultant / Corporate Trainer. Today, I teach courses that I developed to organization, mostly related to Project Management and IT. I have a global team, and travel frequently to India, The Philippines, and South America.

Barbara Arnoldussen received her BSN from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with an honors degree for independent research during clinical rotations. She earned her MBA with a concentration in program/project management from San Jose State University. She earned national certification in five clinical areas: healthcare quality (CPHQ), gerontology, case management, ambulatory care, and mental health.

As a medical writer, she has authored four books on healthcare career preparation. She has contributed to nursing, marketing, and management textbooks and their corresponding instructors' resources. She enjoyed being a newspaper reporter, doing features for the Detroit News and other publications.

Dr. Nik Tehrani PhD, MBA, is Vice President of Business Development of DynoSense Corp., and has over 25 years’ experience in business management, marketing, and supply chain development and implementation. He has also over 15 years of teaching experience as a lecturer and professor at various universities in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to DynoSense, he was President and CEO of Savitron, Inc., an Electronic Manufacturing Solution Company; Global Director of Program Management at Sanmina-SCI, a leading EMS provider; Managing Director and Founder of Majital Solutions, a marketing and engineering consulting company; and Vice President of Marketing and Engineering of ACI, an Electronic Manufacturing Company. A mentor and doctoral student advisor, Dr. Tehrani is also author of several textbooks and peer-reviewed journal articles.

Dr. Ron Lesniak has a 35-year business career including a history as an entrepreneur starting and bootstrapping multiple companies. With his engineering background he worked for several large communications companies in his early career launching new product development initiatives. After securing his MBA degree, his career shifted into marketing and sales for two Fortune 1000 companies.

Dr. Lesniak is a Doctor of Management in Leadership and Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix, has an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago, and a BS Electrical Engineering from Marquette University.

Sung Park has been a consultant and educator for over twenty years in the US, Asia Pacific, and Europe, and has developed a strong global career and expertise in diverse multi-cultural environments. He not only has worked in various leadership positions, but also has been fully involved in hands-on delivery.

While working as a partner at Deloitte Consulting as well as a consulting director at SAP East Asia, Sung has successfully delivered strategic enterprise transformation programs with integrated enterprise solution (i.e. SAP) to multibillion-dollar firms such as Samsung, Hyundai, LG, Nokia Asia Pacific, Delphi, Kimberly Clark, and ThyssenKrupp. He is currently active in ERP consulting and provides technical advices to customers.

Prior to teaching, I was a marketing executive, manager and business owner for twenty-plus years with such global, integrated professional service firms such as AT&T and Pitney Bowes, I also had the privilege of starting and running a printing and graphics services company with a partner for over ten years. John J. Flaig, Ph.D. is a Fellow of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and is managing director of Applied Technology, a consulting, training, and publishing company (www.e-AT-USA.com). He is Chair of the ASQ’s Statistics and Reliability group and was previously Program Chair for the Silicon Valley ASQ's Annual Quality Conference, the Scholarship and Awards program, and the Education program. His industry experience spans more than forty years where he was employed in everything from small startup operations to some of the largest companies in the world such as Apple, Applied Materials, and Hewlett-Packard. Mr. Duane Brooks is an Adjunct Faculty member at International Technological University (ITU), Brandman University, and Modesto Junior College, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Administration and Leadership. He has been teaching at the postsecondary level for approximately 14 years.

Mr. Brooks received his Bachelor’s of Science (B.S.) Degree in Business Administration, Management from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, and his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Degree from California State University, Stanislaus. He is now working on his Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) at University of Nebraska, Lincoln.

Experienced Professor, Civic and community leader, Fel Anthony Amistad has a long list of accomplishments. Amistad is a holder of a Juris Doctorate and is an internationally respected journalist and editor. He is an experienced business owner and corporate executive with a law background and over 20 years training in real estate and marketing, business and finance, and commercial and corporate finance. He is the past President and Board of Directors Advisor to various community organizations: the Chamber of Commerce of Alameda County (FilAm Chapter), San Mateo County FilAm Chamber of Commerce, past president of JayCees District 17, past president of Lions Club and First Vice-President of Hillsdale High School (where he serves on the WASC Accreditation Committee 2012). With past residencies in Guam and California, Prof. Amistad has lived in Hawaii, Wisconsin, Philippines, and Nevada. Prof. Amistad has 2 decades of successful international finance, real estate investments, marketing, and corporate executive leadership.

He is currently Managing Director of American Mortgage Funding and serves on the Board of San Mateo County FilAm Chamber of Commerce, on the San Mateo County Commission on Disabilities, Human Services Agency, and on Hillsdale High School Foundation volunteer committee. He is active in nonprofit sector where he served on the Stanford Alumni Association fundraising committee, PTA associations of San Mateo schools, and in other civic groups. He is President of FAREPA, a realty organization 501c(3) which raises funds for the homeless and distressed homeowners. He is a member of the NAR, National Association of Realtors, CAR, California Association of Realtors, and SAMCAR, San Mateo County Association of Realtors. He is a finance analyst and holds licensure with NMLS, National Mortgage Lender Registry and California Dept. of Real Estate.

Essentials: Dr. Gopal has a Ph.D in Biotechnology. He has studied at the prominent universities of Anna University in India, Penn State and Vanderbilt University.

At these universities, he was also an academic researcher.He developed a diagnostic for a viral disease, investigated plant products as drugs and worked with Pfizer in the development of their blockbuster drug – Viagra before he transitioned to the business side of biology and medicine.

Transitioning from research to business, VG covered the entire drug development – research, screening, drug development, regulatory affairs and manufacturing for over 10 years.

He has worked with Applied Biosystems, General Electric – Healthcare Division, Becton, Dickenson and Co. Currently he is the General Manager of Vignani, Inc., a Silicon Valley start-up and is involved in medical device development and developing the healthcare business of the company.

He is an avid gardener, photographer and loves nature. He also has a passion for teaching.

I hold a doctorate from Nova Southeastern University (DBA in Information Technology Management, Nova Southeastern University, 2005). Prior to earning my doctorate, I was the operations manager of Avis (our franchise car rental agency) in Tampa, Florida for several years.

I did work for several universities (Quinnipiac University, the American University in Dubai (AUD), Bethune Cookman University, and the University of Tampa) among others. I like technology and teaching with it. Technology is bringing more challenges. To me it is the remarkable equalizer because it addresses all students in spite of the learning style and ability. I’ve been involved in teaching and developing courses for online courses for over 7 years. I was awarded a Certification by Sloan C Consortium in Online Teaching (June 2013).

I did author several journal articles and contributed to the previous edition of the textbook Decision Support and Business Intelligence Systems. I am frequently invited to present my research at national and international conferences. My current research interests include Knowledge Management, information systems success and strategy, and ethical impacts of information technology (IT).

An Assistant Professor at Forbes School of Business at Ashford University who has 25 years of engineering experience in broadcasting system engineering, Computer networking, and medical equipment industries.

He earned his PhD in Organization and Management from Capella University, a Master of Business Administration from University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Science in Educational Engineering from Helwan University in Cairo-Egypt.

Dr. Hussein is a member of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). He serves as a senior advisor for many consulting firms in the States and as a board member Mercy-USA a national humanitarian relief organization.

Dr. Pierre Humbert has been teaching in the field of Project Management and Quality at ITU since 2013. Topics include Project Management (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile), Risk Management, Organizational Change, Leadership, Team Building, Customer Focus, Total Quality Management (TQM), Lean Manufacturing and DMAIC.

He has over 20 years of industry experience, mostly with data storage and medical component devices. He held various engineering positions including design, manufacturing, supplier quality, reliability and failure analysis. He trained and coached fellow engineers and managers in Quality Systems, Quality Auditing, Measurement System Analysis, Statistical Process Control and Capability, Acceptance Sampling, and in statistical software tools (Minitab, Jump). As a Six-Sigma Black Belt, he led several six-sigma quality improvement projects.

Professor Carmelita Omran has over 20-years of accounting and finance experience, which covered wide range of managerial responsibilities in different industries. She has worked for several years with two of the Big 5 public accounting/auditing firms, KPMG LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers. She was chief financial officer for a privately held corporation, corporate controller for several years for two manufacturing firms and a resort, and accounting consultant for Babcock & Brown, and the Union Bank.

Professor Omran also teaches accounting and business courses for the MBA program at the University of Phoenix, Sacramento, California. She received her MBA in Finance at the University of Phoenix. Currently, Professor Omran is pursuing her doctor’s degree in Accounting and Organizational Leadership.

With past residences in Japan (Shin Yokohama), UK (Reading) and Germany (Frankfurt & Munich), his background includes CEO and President of Visualize Video Corporation (A Taiwan Company) and Voice Technologies Groups, Inc., as well as GM for Cygron International USA (Headquartered in Budapest, Hungry), and Cymbolic Sciences International, Inc. Karen Haley Allen, M.A. Organization Development - USF, has 20+ years’ experience in leadership development, organizational change, coaching, and learning. She coaches leaders and their teams in holistic Change Management - focused on managing people through change, building communication strategies, and engaging stakeholders in cultural shifts.

Karen teaches at the University of California, Berkeley in the Leadership and Management and Human Resources Programs as well as in the MBA leadership programs at International Technological University.

At ITU, she teaches Organizational Leadership Theories and High Performance Leadership. Karen was a Lead Faculty member and adviser in the School of Business, Education and Leadership at Dominican University, teaching courses including Strategies for Leading Change and The Soul in Business.

Dr. Harshe has worked for more than 20 years in Telecommunication and IT industries, including working in R&D for Motorola and Lucent. Dr. Guim was chair of the Business Administration department for 14 years at the National Hispanic University. He does consulting work in educational and organizational development with local and international educational and development agencies and universities (including Peru, Chile, and Taiwan). His research interests include the application of phenomenological and hermeneutical concepts for business, technology, education, and the arts.

Prof. Mehta in an experienced engineer and seasoned statistician with 11 years of professional experience in data analytics, operations and high tech / automotive industry. He had extensive education with Master degree in Industrial Engineering, Statistics along with Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Cornell University. He is passionate about statistics, quality, analytics and operations.

He also has an extensive industrial experience. He has worked for Ford Motor Company and Luminus Devices Inc as industrial statistician, Qualcomm Inc as senior yield engineer and now as the senior iPhone analyst engineer for Apple Inc. Prof. Mehta is also a certified quality engineer of ASQ (American Society for Quality).

Soly Paterson has over 13 years business experience. Not only does she have practical manufacturing experience, but has taught business and engineering subjects at the graduate level. As Quality Systems Engineer, Training Coordinator and Project Manager in Silicon Valley companies in aerospace, medical device, SSD/ flash memory and other industries. Soly has led, implemented and maintained process improvement initiatives. Soly travelled extensively Internationally and the United States. She has a Masters of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science Industrial Technology from San Jose State University and Certificate of Project Management from UC Santa Cruz.
