Admissions for Ph.D. Programs

General requirements for ITU’s Ph.D. programs:

1. GRE examination could be waived according to applicant’s qualification for example of working experience or technical publications.
2. An applicants? GPA must be 3.0 or above to be considered for admission into a Ph.D. program.
3. An applicant should have a Master of Science (MS) degree.
4. If an applicant has a Bachelor degree, she/he must concurrently enroll in a master degree program to fulfill the credits
   requirement of a master degree and then continue in Ph.D. program.
5. ITU will acknowledge transfer credit in a master’s program only if the student has completed an equivalent class at another institution with a grade of B or above.
