Student Biographies

Bapu Rao Srigadde

Bapu Rao Srigadde is currently an MS student at ITU. While immersed in full-time masters studies, Bapu has also played an active role in ITU’s administration, serving as Project Manager for the university’s media team, call center and research and development team. In the past, he served as a Network Engineer for Excel Media Pvt. Ltd. and as a Systems Administrator for Webtech Pvt. Ltd., both in Hyderabad, India.

Bapu received his MBA degree from ITU, as well as a bachelors degree in Biotechnology from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India, where he graduated amongst the top 10 students and was a member of his district championship winning cricket team. Bapu is also a founder of a non-governmental organization called MyGreenVillage.org.

Kranthi Kumar Lammatha

Kranthi Kumar Lammatha is a graduate of ITU with a master’s degree in software Engineering. He currently serves as Network Administrator for ITU, where his responsibilities include managing more than 40 users in the LAN network and more than 15 in the WAN network. Previously, Kranthi served various private clients (such as Reliance Communications and Argues India) with their network administration needs.

He is Cisco and Microsoft certified and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in India.

Mikel Duffy

Mikel Duffy is a doctoral student at ITU, majoring in consilience science under Dr. Gerald Cory. Mikel manages many of ITU’s key operations, such as processing key administrative documents, building and managing various staff teams, and has also played a large role in the conceptualization and development of ITU’s centralized student database.

He earned his bachelors degree in computer science with a focus in multi-media marketing and from ITU and graduated Valedictorian. He has delivered three academic conference papers in the field of dual motive theory and political economic development, including one as an undergraduate.

Sai Vidya Kumari

Sai Vidya Kumari is an MBA graduate of ITU. She presently serves as an International Student Counselor and Supervisor at ITU. Her tasks in this role include communicating with potential students to guide them through the admissions procedure, assessing potential student aptitude for admissions, and preparing official documentations such as OPT, CPT and reinstatement letters. Sai Vidya also manages and trains staff for ITU’s call center and front desk. She previously served as a Customer Care Representative for GENPACT India, where she was responsible for providing technical support to customers related to MS office, log in issues and more. Part of this role also involved training new associates at her office.

Sai Vidya completed her bachelors of commerce degree in accounting at Osmania University’s St. Ann’s Degree College in Hyderabad, India.

Chaitanya Malla

Chaitanya Malla is a Programmer/Analyst for ITU, where his responsibilities include managing the university’s student database: an amalgam of a social network site. He previously worked at Peri Software Solutions as a Programmer, where he built web applications using J2EE. He is also working with James Wachira, an Alumni of ITU on www.siteforcare.com, a day care referral service listing all day care providers in USA.

Mr. Chaitanya Malla received his Bachelors in Information Technology from JNTU, India and his masters degree in Software Engineering from ITU. While pursing his Masters, he developed several applications as part of his ITU coursework, including a mobile game, iPhone applications.
